This is not a very effective draft. How can I make a pick when I am sleeping 10:09 am EST is 7:09 am PST (where I am). I have been checking this pretty frequently to.

I agree, I had a family emergency before I was on the clock, and logged in the same day as soon as I could, and was an hour late to pick. I understand rules are rules, but exceptions should at least be considered.

sometimes it is a safe bet to leave ur picks with a couple people, this helps in situations like that.
