Hey guys,
As an FYI, I've decided that the 2014 Rookie Draft will begin on Sunday, June 1st with the #1 pick beginning OTC starting at 12am EST.
There's a couple different factors into why the draft will be starting later this year than it did last year:
1) The NFL Draft itself will be taking place later this year, May 8-10, as opposed to last year when it was from April 25-27, so either way the Rookie Draft would have been pushed back from last year for this reason on it's own
2) With myself being away for nearly a week most likely when the Rookie Draft would be at it's busiest, I'd rather have it start after my arrival back as not to have issues with trades, draft boards, etc and leave it on someone to control everything
My ultimate goal would be start June 1 & be finished up the week leading up to the 4th of July (which is a Friday). Depending on the finish of the Rookie Draft and the holiday, would like to have off-season free agency open up in mid-July.
