From the Desk of the Commissioner:
Hey guys,
I know this will come as a sudden, out-of-nowhere announcement from myself, but I’m retiring from the DFL as owner of the Seattle Seahawks, as well as, being the Commissioner of the DFL.
This is not a decision made rashly or without much thought from myself over the last several weeks as I’ve waffled back and forth on my personal push and commitment to putting in the work for another offseason and forward into the season.
Having been part of a league like this literally since Day 1, co-founding this league from the ground up, and tweaking things to keep this strong for 10+ years is something i take great pride in, along with the several great guys I’ve come to meet and become friends with on the league level as well as outside of it.
The struggle of personal time shrinking, in addition to staying committed to a league without a financial stake in it has left me with the decision to retire from this amazing league and focus on other areas.
I’d like to thank Tom (of course long since retired himself) for having helped being this creation to life with me, the Staff I’ve had help me over the years (especially Travis & Eric in the last few years) but of course ALL of the owners past & present that have continued to make this league the success it has had and will continue to have going forward.

1) Anyone interested in taking over as Commissioner, please contact me directly, as I will be the one to appoint my successor to takeover before offseason activities begin as i will not be doing anything league wise for the next league year
2) While I’m leaving here, I am creating a new $50 (more traditional) football league (on fantrax only) to kick up this summer if you’re interested in adding a money league to your fantasy profile
