DFL Week 3 Rankings:
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-0) +3 : Tampa will jump to the top spot in the rankings with a huge win over the Redskins in week 4 and moving to 4-0 on the season, being 1 of 2 teams left without a loss. This week is another huge matchup for Tampa as they now have to face the always deadly Bengals team, giving them an insane two week stretch.
2. Washington Redskins (3-1) -1 : Washington fell for the first time this season in a very exciting, very close matchup with Tampa Bay, losing by just a little over 2.5 points. Looking to bounce back from the narrow loss and get back on track, the Redskins will face off with the Colts this week.
3. Cincinnati Bengals (3-1) -1 : The Bengals picked up another win, despite only putting up 113 points on the week, knocking off the Colts on the week. In a big matchup this week against Tampa Bay, can the Bengals have a better week this week and knock off the top team in the league, and bring the undefeated teams down by 1?
4. Chicago Bears (4-0) +1 : The Bears continue their impressive start to the season with an almost 60 point win over the Pats, and putting up 149 points on the week. They draw a tricky Chiefs team this week, in pursuit of staying undefeated, can the Bears continue to score a lot of points and avoid an upset?
5. Los Angeles Rams (3-1) -1 : The Rams almost had a carbon copy week to that of the Bengals, where they won the week, but only put up 113 points against the Cowboys. The Rams will look to have a better game this week and grab another win in their matchup with the Browns.
6. Denver Broncos (3-1) +2 : The Broncos had another strong win in week 4, knocking off the Cardinals and putting up 137 points in the process. Looking to pick up win #4 on the season and stay in the race for a first round by they will face off with the Titans, and look to avoid an upset this week.
7. Green Bay Packers (3-1) +4 : The Packers continue to have a solid start to the season, getting a 121 to 96 win over the Vikings and moving to 3-1. The question they will have this week, is which Pats team will they have to deal with, the one that scored 176 two weeks ago or the one that scored 89 last week, if they get the latter, the Packers should move to 4-1.
8. Atlanta Falcons (2-2) -2 : The Falcons were not able to keep the momentum up from the win two weeks ago as they fell last week to the Chiefs by 12 points. Sitting on a 2-2 record can the Falcons take advantage of playing the Jets this week, or fall under .500 on the season?
9. San Francisco 49ers (2-2) - : The 49ers picked up a win last week, but only scoring 103 points, a week after scoring 97, does not bode well for this team. Can they get the ship righted, or will they continue to struggle to find points and hand the Cardinals their first win of the year?
10. New York Giants (2-2) +2 : The Giants have put up 144 points in back to back weeks which has propelled them to a top 10 spot and makes them one of the more dangerous teams in the league at the moment. Facing off with the Panthers this week can they keep the momentum going and pick up a third straight week?
11. Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) +2 : The Chiefs moved to 2-2 on the season and dropped the Falcons to the same record with the win last week. This week they face off with the still undefeated Bears, can the Chiefs build on the momentum of last week, and grab the huge upset over the Bears?
12. Minnesota Vikings (2-2) -5 : The Vikings dropped their second week in a row and for the second week in a row did not break 100 total points. Drawing a winless Saints team could be what this Vikings team needs to get back on track, or they could hand a team their first win of the season if they can’t figure things out.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2) -3 : The Steelers slide to 2-2 on the year with the 132 to 118 loss to the Titans in week 4. In need of a bounce back week the Steelers will face off with the Cowboys, can they snag the win and get back over .500 or fall for the third straight week?
14. Tennessee Titans (2-2) +5 : The Titans picked up a solid win last week, knocking off the Steelers, moving them to 2-2 now on the season. The Titans get a very tough task in the Broncos this week, so to get the win they will need a big week, if they can get that they might be able to pull of the upset.
15. New England Patriots (2-2) -1 : After an 176 point week in week 3, the Pats barely scrapped up half that total in week 4, in route to a near 60 point loss to the Bears. If the team of week 3 shows up this week they should easily knock off the Packers, but it will not be pretty if the team of last week shows up again.
16. Indianapolis Colts (1-3) - : The Colts lost in week 4 in their matchup with the Bengals, the result drops them to 1-3 on the year. They get a bad draw two weeks in a row as they now have to face off with the Redskins this week, unless they have monster games from some guys, the Colts are staring 1-4 in the face.
17. Seattle Seahawks (2-2) -2 : The Seahawks had a VERY rough week 4, losing to the Panthers and only scoring 68 points, getting only 26 of those from his offense. Bouncing back from a week like that is never easy, but going against a Lions team that has not been good yet, could be the opponent the Seahawks needed to face this week to in fact bounce back.
18. Cleveland Browns (PHI) (2-2) -1 : After moving to 2-1 early, the Browns could not keep the winning going as they only scored 88 points and fell to the 49ers on the week. This week they have to face a strong Rams team, can they pull the upset by bouncing back from the bad week 4, or fall for the second week in a row?
19. New York Jets (1-3) +2 : In their battle of winless teams against the Saints, the Jets were the team to pick up their first win of the season. Now after getting their first win, the Jets face off with a Falcons team that has not looked good the last couple of weeks, can they take advantage of that and pick up a second win in a row?
20. Dallas Cowboys (1-3) -2 : With the loss in week 4 to the Rams, the Cowboys now find themselves at 1-3 and searching for more points. Can they find the points needed this week and pull off a big upset over a solid Steeler team, or fall to 1-4 on the season?
21. New Orleans Saints (0-4) -1 : The Saints lost the battle of winless teams in their matchup with the Jets, moving them to 0-4 on the season. They get a Vikings team that has not had a good last 2 weeks, so if the Saints can figure out where to get some more points they could find themselves with a win this week.
22. Carolina Panthers (1-3) +2 : Thanks to a 68 point week from their opponent the Seahawks, the Panthers picked up win #1 of their season. This week though, they face off with the Giants who have put up 144 points both the last two weeks, can the Panthers do anything with them, or get handed their fourth loss?
23. Arizona Cardinals (0-4) -1 : The Cardinals had a solid week 4, but unfortunately for them they were facing the Broncos who had a better week than them forcing the Cardinals to settle for a 15 point loss. This week they get to face off with a 49er team that has not had a good point total in a couple weeks, so can the Cardinals build on last week and get their first win of the season?
24. Detroit Lions (1-3) -1 : The Lions continue to struggle this season, dropping to 1-3 thanks to an almost 60 point loss to the Giants, and only managing 87 points for the week. This week they face off with a Seahawk team that only scored 68 points last week, will this be an opportunity for the Lions to improve on their struggles and grab a win?
